We tip our hats to our community volunteers!

The Annual Three Forks NRA Rodeo is July 19th and 20th, 2019. NRA performances are at 7 pm each night with gates opening at 5:30. All seating is general admission. Mini Bull riding will start ahead of the regular performance and a full menu is offered at our concessions stand. On-site snack and merchandise vendors. Slack will run at 8 am on Friday, July 19th. Friday night at the rodeo is family night! Kids 17 and under are admitted free with a monetary donation to the Headwaters Area Food Bank.

Kick off your weekend a bit early with a kids’ stick horse derby and farmer’s market on Thursday, July 18th sponsored by the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce. Then make plans for your Saturday morning with the Three Forks Volunteer Fireman’s pancake breakfast before watching the parade at 11 a.m. This year’s parade theme is “A Western Celebration of our Community Volunteers” and the volunteers at the Headwaters Community Food Bank have been chosen as the Parade Grand Marshall’s. The Three Forks Volunteer Ambulance Service is providing a free community BBQ lunch at the station until 4 p.m. The street fair runs through the day with vendor and activities. There is also a classic car show at the Sacajawea Hotel and proceeds from that event go towards the Headwaters Area Food Bank.

Buy your tickets online here up until 4pm of that day:

We are RV travelers from St Petersburg Florida, now at West Yellowstone MT. We would love to attend a rodeo. We plan on leaving West Yellowstone on the 17 th. We have a forty four foot motor home and need to find an RV park in your area first before we order tickets. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We have a very nice campground located just outside of Three Forks. A former KOA, Camp Three Forks is independently owned and operated. You can call for reservations at 406-285-3611 or look them up online at campthreeforks.com. Hope this helps!

There is also Lewis and Clark State Park about a 20 minute drive from Three Forks. It would be wise to look online for a reservation for a rig of your size. stateparks.mt.gov

Is your Rodeo always the 3rd weekend in July?

    Thank you!

    • admin  says:

Yes. It gets a bit tricky when the 1st of July falls on a Sunday. In that case, it would be considered the first weekend. The dates for the 2014 rodeo will be July 18th & 19th.

Are you going to be having any mini bull riding at the rodeo?

    • admin  says:

We do not have mini bulls at this year’s rodeo. However, there will be a kids event during intermission. We call it a goat scramble where kids from the audience are invited to participate in catching a cash-coated goat (there will be multiple goats) in the arena.
