July NRA Rodeo

The 2026 Three Forks Rodeo will be July 17th & 18th!

Online ticket sales are live now! NOTE: Online ticket sales end at noon each day of the performance.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate until we sell 3,000/performance.

We want to thank our sponsors and vendors for participating in the 2025 rodeo year. If you are interested in a sponsorship for 2026, please email [email protected].

Kick off the weekend at the Chamber of Commerce's Farmers Market and Kids Stick Horse Derby. (For information to sponsor stick horses for the kids, please contact the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce at 406-285-4753.)

TICKETS are available to purchase online through our official ticketing platform. Please be sure to only purchase e-tickets from that site; all other "resell websites" inflate prices and may charge additional fees.

Rodeo action starts with a family friendly Friday night with the cowboys and cowgirls of the Northern Rodeo Association. Kids get in free on family night with a donation to the Headwaters Area Food Bank. Last year, we collected over 800 pounds of food donations! Featured events in this year's rodeo are: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Junior Barrel Racing and Junior Breakaway Roping. We are excited to welcome back specialty trick riding act performers Audrey Snellman and new this year is Gracie Stolfus! Check out their video here.

After our rodeo event, the party continues down on Main Street with a street dance and live music at both the Sacajawea and Plaza/Frontier ends.

Saturday morning the Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department hosts breakfast for anyone willing to get up early. Between 6AM-10AM the department serves up pancakes, scrambled eggs, and typically ham. After filling up for breakfast, head on down to Main Street where the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce closes Main Street to hold "Rodeo Dayz" which begins with a parade at 11AM, followed by vendor specials and sales all day downtown.

Saturday night we will hold another rodeo event, followed by the street dance down Main Street.

  1. Hi! My family and I are visiting and wanted to purchase tickets and it let us before but now says sales ended. Is there an option to get them at the location or no more available? Please let me know!

good morning, i am trying to purchase tickets to the July 19 2024 rodeo, are these available now? Also wondering how tickets will work for kids this year?

    1. They are not available yet, but should be by mid- or late-June. The link will be available on our website.

    2. Sorry – I forgot to reply about kids. Age 6 and under are free, all kids are free on Friday night with a non-perishable food donation to the Headwaters Food Bank provided/dropped off at the gate upon entry, otherwise kids’ tickets are $10 for ages 7-12.

    1. I know this reply is WAY late, but participants register through the Northern Rodeo Association for our July event annually. Please reach out to them for 2024.

  3. Hello,

Do we need to buy entrance tickets? At what time does the evening start at the 14th of July 2023? (Schedule?)
We are traveling with a camper from Yellowstone to Glacier NP and planning an overnight at Three Forks. We would love to come to the Rodeo (with our kids of 19 and 17 years old)

    1. Hello,

Yes, tickets are needed to get into the rodeo. We will have online tickets available starting in May. The gates open at 6pm and the event starts at 7pm.

Hi – for the Thursday kids stick horse derby – do the kids just need to show up with a stick horse or is there somewhere i need to register them? thx!

    1. This event is put on by the Three Forks Chamber. Please contact them at 406-285-4753. I think you can just show up and participate and the stickhorses are donated by businesses.

    1. Yes. It gets a bit tricky when the 1st of July falls on a Sunday. In that case, it would be considered the first weekend. The dates for the 2014 rodeo will be July 18th & 19th.

We are RV travelers from St Petersburg Florida, now at West Yellowstone MT. We would love to attend a rodeo. We plan on leaving West Yellowstone on the 17 th. We have a forty four foot motor home and need to find an RV park in your area first before we order tickets. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    1. We have a very nice campground located just outside of Three Forks. A former KOA, Camp Three Forks is independently owned and operated. You can call for reservations at 406-285-3611 or look them up online at campthreeforks.com. Hope this helps!

    2. There is also Lewis and Clark State Park about a 20 minute drive from Three Forks. It would be wise to look online for a reservation for a rig of your size. stateparks.mt.gov

    3. Welcome! I’m originally from Tampa, Florida. Check out the Livingston Montana Rodeo too!!!
